It’s wild to think that very shortly, anyone in the world can go out and grab a copy of issue 1. I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to put this out into the work with IDW. Making comics is a solitary endeavor. There’s you, and the page… and every once in a while you get transmissions from your editorial team (if you’re lucky enough to have one), and from your other collaborators. In this case, the only other artist involved is the excellent Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou on lettering. I love the rare opportunities to actually meet up with artists in person, but I’m not planning on attending cons until next year (just so I can completely focus on finishing up the rest of this series).

SO, I’m extremely grateful to announce that I’ll be able to actually see other human beings and sign copies of BTT at not one, but TWO events :)

Soon after issue 1 comes out, I have the honor of joining a couple of podcasts where I’ll be able to go in-depth on spoiler-ific topics as well as providing commentary on what all went into the creation process. I’ll share those as soon as they’re available and add in some additional details about my process and preferred supplies (if anyone is interested).
